Looking back

Looking back at time, the memories left behind is really precious. Then I wonder, hmm, what am I doing at this day few years ago? Then I quickly flip through my lil diary, haha, yeah I do have one.

Dated back exactly two years ago, 30/8/2006. Its really an exciting day for me, carefree and lots of plans ahead.

As usual, food is like my adventure. I went to eat sushi with Cindy, Anthony and my coursemate, Cindy too.

Its a 40 mins drive to that place, Anthony told me that he found this place through internet recommendation. It says one of the best in Perth. Alright, its a very unique place, real japanese is serving the sushi. I got so excited to taste it, very distinctive, but I still find Escapade is better. I have to say, its quite pricey there. Forgot the name, damn, I should have noted it down.

After the meal, I went to buy my First Rice Cooker. wow, its end of August already and I just got my rice cooker. What have I been eating all these while??? Bread!!, McDonald, Domino, Cereal. haha, talking about Cereal, there's no KokoCrunch there, my favourite. So urm, guess Cocopops will do. I remember I bought the rice cooker at a place called "The Good Guys".

Buying the rice cooker is funny too. During the purchase, they did ask for my address so i gave to the counter girl
i say "209 Kent Street, Karawara"
Sale lady: "???? sorry?"
I say "Karawara." (I guess my malay pronouciation must be pretty strong)

The sales lady noted it down in the system and Anthony had a peak on the screen and say "Hey, the spelling is wrong, its Karaewarra (something like that, which I heard)"

Sale lady "oh, its Karaewarra, no wonder i am puzzled"

Haha, the real spelling is KARAWARA but have to say something like Karaewarra for them to spell that.

Then there goes the day, after that is just group study with Cindy2, then to the nearby Waterford Pub with Bsb Siew and some other friends, yeah, Its student night, Wednesday right.

Make sure I didnt stay up till too late, the next morning is Araluen Park trip!!!! Its wonderful. And WOW, this is like exactly 2 years ago.

That's all for today's time capsule. Looking back in time, its really fun. I just wish I did have a diary earlier in my life. But its still not too bad to have some memorable ones.

By the way, my first rice cooker got stolen in the end!!!!

Another Sweat Sensation!!!

Had another Futsal game at Mumong today 19/8/2008. The indoor court renovation has delayed for another week so we get to book the court for another session.

It has been a great game, with more players this time and more talented players showup too. Somehow, our group futsal ball BUSTED after around one hour of play today. This is the second time we used the ball. Sadden me, it cost B$40 for this ball! Still remember that shopkeeper telling me its a good ball.



Anyway, lucky the sport complex has an extra ball for us to play with. This time more people show up, like aorund 20 i guess. some didnt stay until the photo session. Another Sweat Sensation!!!


We will come up with another place to play and a new ball, hopefully a better one :).

Mumong Futsal Game

Did gather a group of people to play futsal at Mumong complex. It turn out very well. Everyone is having fun and even the girls get to score.

Really looking forward to play again and hopefully more people will join in. Too bad, the indoor futsal court at mumong will be closed for renovation until Next YEAR!!!

Curtin Revisit

Last Sunday, I visited my old university, Curtin University of Techonology, Sarawak.

Oh wow, how surprising. It really has become more beautiful than before. Haha, and the very notable sinking ground too. It may not be a thing for new comer but for me, it seems like it has sink more than a standard staircase step. That's really a lot for buildings.

The first place I visited, where me and my mates used to be urm, King. haha, still loving the name Four Big Sky King (四大天王) and the four season (春夏秋冬）. The court still remain the same, except the soccer field became a rugby field i guess. Will come back to play a game one day ;).

And the really Convenient Store. Its still here, really miss it. Hoping to drop by to buy something but its close on a Sunday.

I find the banner there very welcoming, so I sit down there to pretend to be a committee member of whatever it is, i think its CV. Who knows, there's really a fresh student came to ask me stuff on Curtin. I must have been a great pretender eh. Haha, hope I didnt give misleading information. Does feel great to be a student again for a moment.

Then I drop by the canteen. I am seeing CDS conquering most of the stores! I guess its the longest store there, been opening since Curtin moved in here.

And also, not forgeting one of the memorable spot for me where I LOST MY DARN NOKIA 6150. And yes, exactly this spot where i left it on top of the booth, how stupid. And I still can picture HER giggling heart.

Last but not least, my 2nd home! All the spits, candles, pee, laughter, shouting, gambling, drinking, romance.... all here, right at this Lot 2476. I am rather shock to see it at this state, I thought i might see some new students living here doing the same thing as we did before. haha. oh well, Lot 2476 eh, the RB HeadQuater, everyone just love to drop by having a puff and spit.
